Owen's 2nd Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OWEN!


The day of Owen's 2nd birthday was a beautiful, warm and sunny. A perfect day for a birthday boy who loves to be outside. We were able to spend the morning enjoying the sunshine outside by throwing rocks and sticks in the water by the bridge.

In the afternoon we had a fun birthday party playing with construction trucks in a bin of beans, eating cake and opening gifts.







Owen has been enjoying construction trucks these past few months.  He loves watching them, playing with toy trucks and reading about construction.  For the first part of his birthday party he and his cousins and friends played with construction vehicles in a bin of beans.

Owen could not wait to start eating his birthday cake.  He blew out his two candles and then ate a whole piece of cake!

Owen's cousins and friends also helped him open up his birthday presents!  They all enjoyed the new gifts and toys!  He was given so many great gifts by family and friends.

I made him a new pillowcase out of fabric that he "helped" me pick out at the fabric store!

There was so much excitement from him birthday it took hours for him to wind down from it all.  Before bed he visited his cousin Emery's house and her kitties. Can you tell that he likes this kitty a lot?

I am excited to see how he grows and changes this upcoming year.  Owen brings us so much joy.  We love you Owen!
