A Letter to Paula

Dear Paula,

Only one more week until you are off to Haiti!  I am so proud of you and excited for you! You are going from the big city of Seattle to the big city of Port-au-Prince.

The Child Hope orphanage in Haiti has become a second home for you over the past few years.  You have made many trips on your own to help make a difference in the lives of those children at Child Hope.  It has become very evident over time, and as I have read your blog, that God has put a special place in your heart for this place.

What a big change you are making to follow where God is leading you!  Some may think you are crazy for quitting your job at the Children's hospital as an oncology nurse, but i think it is wonderful to see how you are putting your faith and trust in God as you move to Haiti. You are trusting Him to care for you spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially. Romans 10:11 says, "Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame."

I look forward to seeing how God will continue to use you and your nursing skills to influence the lives of the children living at Child Hope. I am so excited for the opportunity to be able to support you while you are in Haiti!

This verse is my prayer for you:  "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

Love your sister,
Anna
