The Discovery Stage

I am really enjoying this stage of Owen's life!

He is now eighteen months old and I love discovering life with him as we go about each day.  Every thing right now is so exciting and new!  It has forced me to slow down and take a fresh look at the beautiful and amazing things that God has created.  We take time to smell the beautiful flowers (and weeds), we observe the way the frogs jump and climb on plants with their sticky toes, we get excited to see the birds do their bath dance in a puddle, we watch the buzz of the bees and the hum of the hummingbirds.  And we thank God for creating so many wonderful things for us to enjoy.
